Notice to hikers: temporary closure of routes in the municipalities of Blevio, Faggeto Lario and Torno

Due to the current state of emergency related to the flooding events, the municipalities of Blevio, Faggeto Lario and Torno have communicated major restrictions on the walkability of trails and historic roads in the area.

Faggeto Lario

By special ordinance, the municipality has ordered the closure of pedestrian transit on the Strada Regia road in the section between the Chapel of San Rocco (Molina) and the municipal border with Torno.

Blevio

The municipality reported that the Lariana Road is currently unsafe: therefore, it has been closed to through traffic until further notice.

Recommendations

We urge all hikers and visitors to abide by municipal ordinances and not to take the affected routes, pending official updates on the restoration of the viability and safety of the trails.
