Erba Civic Museum

The Erba Civic Museum preserves and displays artifacts from the history of the city of Erba and its surrounding area, serving as a guardian of the culture and heritage of the local community. The exhibition illustrates the main stages of the history of Triangolo Lariano, beginning with the geological eras—featuring a rich section dedicated to fossils—through Prehistory, the Roman era, and the Middle Ages, all the way to the modern age. There is also a Collectors’ Hall that houses artifacts of Egyptian, Magna Graecian, and Etruscan origin.

The museum conducts scientific research and public outreach through guided tours, lecture series, exhibitions, educational activities, and workshops, and publishes the journal *Quaderni Erbesi*.
